Lower Greenville

Often considered to be one and the same with the bustling Knox-Henderson area, Lower Greenville has always been one of Dallas’ go-to destinations for dining and nightlife. Over the few years, the area has continued to evolve and is now also one of Dallas’ most diverse communities.

With Mockingbird Station only a short distance away from Lower Greenville, it gives residents access to Downtown, suburban areas, DFW airport and beyond. There are also charming townhomes, single-family homes and condominiums. In Lower Greenville, you’ll find fine-dining options, live music venues, lounges and vintage boutiques. In fact, as quaint as the area is, it’s actually known for its exciting nightlife and noteworthy dining options.

Lower Greenville is home to the 1946 Art Deco style Granada Theater. Inside you’ll find exotic murals painted by some of the same artists who designed Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Los Angeles.

Lower Greenville is also home to one of the largest block parties in Dallas with an extravagant St. Patrick’s Day parade in all of the southwest. Recent urban redevelopment in Lower Greenville has transformed this from a one-time rowdy party district to now a “hip” part of town with low-key lounges, tequila bars, delicious casual and fine dining options and unique boutiques and locally owned shops. So, whether you’re an early bird who lives morning cappuccino or a night owl who prefers brews of another type, Lower Greenville has something for everyone.
