Her grandfather owned a building/developing company, creating neighborhoods in Winston-Salem beginning in 1950. She was fortunate to be on the job site at an early age, soaking up all of the wisdom and ingraining in the importance of every aspect of building a home and community. Her mother was a realtor with unwavering charisma, elegance, and knowledge instilled in Sharon.
A Journey Embarked in 1996: Sharon's real estate odyssey commenced in 1996 with Beazer Homes in Charlotte, NC, where she swiftly earned the title of Rookie of the Year, her first year in the industry. This early success fueled her passion for real estate and set the stage for a remarkable career.
Building Dreams Beyond Boundaries: In 1999, Sharon and her partner embarked on a new venture, establishing a home-building company (Beckwith Homes). Together, they ventured into buying and developing land, designing floor plans, staging model homes, overseeing construction, and managing sales representatives. This hands-on experience honed her skills and deepened her understanding of the intricacies of the real estate world. She has listed & sold homes from less than two hundred thousand to 6 million, a 1/4 acre to 400 acres, and everything in between. A Richmond Resident with a Heart for Home: For 16 years, she has proudly called Richmond, Virginia home.
