Albany Park

The Albany Park neighborhood is located on the Northwest side of Chicago. It is bordered by Addison Street to the North, Irving Park Road to the East, Western Avenue to the South and Pulaski Road to the West. The population in Albany Park is predominantly Hispanic with some African American and Asian residents too.

All the residential areas are family-friendly and safe. The Albany Park community is well-connected with public transportation. It is a short walk from the CTA Blue Line as well as the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line, which can take you all over Chicago or downstate Illinois. One of the best things to do in the area is to go for a scenic walk along the waterfront at River Park or Ronan Park. Here you can launch canoes, see birds, look at many works of art, fish, or go to the water playgrounds. They foundation of Albany Park has always been immigration and multiculturalism. It is a residential area with many single-family homes and apartments for rent, with many retail shops, churches, libraries, and schools in this area too. Albany Park has a lot of green spaces, parks, and lakes. Residents are never short of options; there is always something to do.
