Irving Park

The Irving Park neighborhood is a bustling locality in the north-west corner of Chicago, and a diverse, urban community. The Irving Park neighborhood consists of many ethnic groups including Hispanics, African Americans, and Caucasians, and has received recognition for its cultural diversity.

The neighborhood is rich with architecture and features stunning Victorian mansions and bungalows, which some even predate the Great Chicago Fire in 1871. There are tons of popular breweries and restaurants to stop at when you want to get a drink or a bite to eat. Or you can wind down your night at the Windy City Playhouse, which is an excellent performing arts studio.

Living in Irving Park is like living in a small town. It’s a mix of old and new, with newer homes and businesses mixed in with older ones. The area is named after the park that borders the neighborhood on the east side, but it also has a lot of green space to enjoy. The Irving Park neighborhood has seen an influx in new businesses recently, with many new restaurants and retailers opening up shop in the area. It’s close enough to public transportation that residents can get around pretty easily, as well as close enough to downtown Chicago that it makes commuting easy.
