Central Station

The area now known as Central Station was formerly a warehouse district. However, as a result of the redevelopment that was completed in 1994, opulent apartments began to be constructed, and Central Station started to take on the characteristics of a residential neighborhood. This lakefront region has recently seen a significant uptick in the construction of upmarket townhouses, high-rise condominiums, flats, and retail facilities.

It covers the area between Roosevelt Road and 18th Street to the east of Indiana Avenue, where there used to be train yards and airspace rights. The area between Michigan and Indiana Avenues is now included as well.

Central Station is a stylish nod to the city’s iconic past. You can get on the train and be in the Loop, Greektown, River North, or on the Magnificent Mile in no time. Apartments in the area are big and light, with windows facing the city and complete with modern fixtures and equipment. When it comes to unwinding, working out, or hosting visitors, locals have access to a wide variety of indoor and outdoor venues. A dog park with a luxurious dog spa is also available. There is no lack of high-end high-rises and luxury high-rises in Downtown Chicago, but it is also possible to get affordable studio apartments there.
