Cascade Avenue Road

This neighborhood, situated along Cascade Road near the Westside Trail, offers many different housing and architectural styles along with opportunities for its residents to enjoy outdoor activities.

Due to its deep history, Cascade Avenue-Road has maintained its turn-of-the-century Victorian colonials, Craftsman homes, and Cape Cods, amid its 1930 and 40 bungalows and cottages. While these older buildings still offer nostalgic charm, new residents are building their own more contemporary styles as well.

You’ll enjoy a really healthy vibe in Cascade Avenue-Road, in which younger professionals with families descend on the many trails, tennis courts, and golf courses. Within a six-block radius you’ll find Barbara A McCoy Park, John A White Park, and the McGhee Tennis Center where you can stretch your legs or practice your overhead. Kids are drawn to the City of Atlanta Outdoor Activity Center where they can entertain themselves on a rope course and a nature themed playground. Join the throng along the West Side Trail and Beltline.

The active vibe continues for those seeking out diverse eateries and shopping. Don’t miss The Beautiful Restaurant, a popular cafeteria-style Southern restaurant serving ribs, catfish, and ham hocks with tons of sides since its establishment in 1979. Are you a beer connoisseur? The Monday Night Garage offers unique craft beers, including a delicious dark sour and peach beer. For those who want to cool down, try the fresh ice creams at Honeysuckle Gelato.
