Myrel Glick has been involved in real estate sales for 25 + years. She has consistently achieved status as a top-producer who has excelled at marketing and selling fine residential and Mixed-Use properties both on the East and West coasts. Myrel started her real estate career in Cobble Hill in 1985 and in 1989 moved to San Francisco where she caught the wave of the Dot Com market from 1990-2005. Bringing her East Coast energy to the West Coast, she was a consistent top producer in San Francisco and also learned her "staging skills" and "multiple offer" strategy skills out there. Missing "the city" she moved her family back to New York in 2006 and picked up right where she left off. She thinks of herself as a real estate coach - helping buyers, sellers and investors get into shape for the marathon we call - Buying and Selling Real Estate in New York City.
Myrel's successful representation of buyers and sellers has included single-family and multi-family homes as well as condos, co-ops, lofts, tenancy in common interests and small mixed-use buildings. She has also capably handled 1031 exchanges, probates, trust sales and corporate relocations for her clients. In addition, Myrel has been involved in various aspects of construction and development, from locating vacant sites through architectural and design consultation, cost analysis and marketing strategies.
An experienced and knowledgeable professional, Myrel as a seller's broker provides a “PPM” (Personal Marketing Plan) that is well thought out, creative and highly effective. Her trained eye knows how to “set the stage” and her real estate experience has taught her how to “set the price,” while her marketing skills and company support provide her with the right tools to expose her listings to the widest audience. This, in turn, assures the highest price possible for her clients.
As a buyer's broker, Myrel has unlimited energy. She is very intuitive, is a good listener, and has a tremendous amount of patience when it comes to helping buyers realize their dreams. Involved in the arts, Myrel is a creative thinker, not only when designing her personalized marketing plan, but especially when looking at properties and thinking about “the kind of spaces” that might work for her buyers.
Myrel lives and breathes real estate, and is absolutely committed to helping her Sellers and Buyers move on to their next Life Adventure. Her goal is to make each transaction as smooth and stress-free as possible.
This native New Yorker graduated from Brooklyn College and received an MA in Cinema Studies from NYU. After a brief period teaching film, she found her calling in real estate. Myrel owes her success to her negotiating skills, her love of helping people and her encyclopedic knowledge of the market. She possesses a thorough and intimate understanding of the city, its history, and its many unique and eclectic neighborhoods.
Myrel has been living with her filmmaker husband on and off in Carroll Gardens since l971. Her passions include architecture, art and design, independent cinema, ceramics, knitting and the fiber arts. Whether she is at work showing property, commuting, or has "free time", she is always on her bicycle: exploring and photographing our ever-changing city.
