Windsor Park

Windsor Park is a neighborhood that once dealt with the endless noise of air traffic from a local airport, but the old Mueller Airport is now closed and those louder days have come to pass. Property value has continued to rise since the airport’s closing, and now homes in the area are snatched up at record speeds.

With a very family-friendly atmosphere, the residents of Windsor Park have plenty to do in the area, with several parks and golf courses available. About a 15 minute drive from downtown Austin and the University of Texas, it is an area just far enough removed from the city hubbub but still close enough for easy access.

Locals flock to trending joint Paco’s Tacos, with a fun patio and some of the tastiest tacos around. There are a few notable bars in the area like Nomad, which serves up a stunning array of local beers on tap. The only coffee shop in the area is an independent venture, Corona Coffee, shirking more common franchise options.

Served by the Austin Independent School District, Windsor Park residents can delight in sending their students to some of the top performing schools in the state of Texas.
