Several major highways serve Corpus Christi, including I-37, and Texas State Highways 44, 286, 357, and 358. Situated north of Highway 358 is the Bay Area neighborhood, which offers single-family homes near the water, and access to a shopping plaza. Straddling I-37 in the west end is Calallen, a quiet, friendly, and family-oriented area that has had the highest livability score of any neighborhood in Corpus Christi. Meanwhile, Mustang-Padre Island offers beach-goers and nature lovers easy access to both the gulf and Corpus Christi Bay. Homes here include villas, condos, and single-family homes.

Corpus Christi revels in pleasant winter weather, and miles of beaches that serve as a backdrop for fishing, surfing, snorkeling, kayaking, and kiteboarding.
