Provo in north-central Utah is nestled between the towering mountain peaks of the Wasatch Front to the east, and by Utah Lake to the west. Founded in 1849, the city lies across 44.1 square miles, and has a median age of 23.7 (2022). Its economy is mainly fuelled by retail, education, healthcare, and social assistance.

Job opportunities, a strong housing market, and a vibrant downtown — Utah’s capital city has it all. So much so, Salt Lake City hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics. Founded in 1847 on a grid layout, the city today covers 110.8 square miles, and has a median age of 32.5 (2022). Government, trade, transportation, utilities, and professional and business services are the main drivers of its economy.
