Sunset Hill

Sunset Hill is a community rich in history. It dates back to 1914 when Dallas annexed the area and it became Sunset Hill. And it was Kendall and Hann, two developers, who decided to urbanize this locale and make it what it’s known for today: picturesque tree-lined streets with California bungalow-style homes, in addition to Craftsman and Prairie styles.

And while many of the still-standing historic homes of Sunset Hill were built in the 1930s, the architecture has continued to evolve. Brick Tudors, four-square Prairies and Spanish Eclectic are the predominant styles you’ll find within this close-knit community. Sunset Hill also offers residents open, green spaces where families with young children can spend time outdoors. The neighborhood offers all the comforts you’d expect in a tight-only community to include grocery stores, local shops and a variety of schools. The area is also close to 1-30, giving you easy access to other parts of Dallas. Sunset Hills is also a coffee lover’s dream with numerous locally owned cafes to enjoy your daily dose of caffeine. Similar to other parts of Dallas, Sunset Hills is always evolving, and changing with the times. And as the community continues to expand, so will the demand to live in this cozy nook of Texas.
