St. Bens

St. Ben's Neighborhood is a family-oriented area and is a pocket of North Center. It was established and named after St. Benedict's Parish, which has been the anchor of the neighborhood for over 100 years. You will find elegant Victorian homes and modern newer construction of lofts and condominiums. It has a sense of a neighborhood that welcomes a family, but it is a great spot for young professionals to live and retreat from the hectic day in the city.

The streets have trees and beautiful lawns. You'll see a beautifully refurbished brick building inside, still maintaining its Victorian charm. The updated multi-dwelling units in the area are an excellent way to put your stamp on the neighborhood. There are many things to do in and around the neighborhood. Catch a play at the neighborhood's local theater or enjoy a visiting band at the music venue around the corner. After the show, grab a drink at the local martini lounge or pub or a slice where everybody will know your name or at least say hello. The nearby Globe Pub is a popular place for soccer fans. In the summer, you'd find no better place to be on a Sunday than any of the area’s street fests and markets. Parks and green spaces along the river also make a fine setting for a relaxing day.
