Grapeland Heights

If you’re looking for a place to call home in Miami but travel frequently, the Grapeland Heights neighborhood of Miami may be for you. Located near the Miami International Airport, you can be out your door and on your next flight in under an hour. But don’t worry, the airport is to the West, so there won’t be planes flying overhead at all hours.

Like to golf? Then Grapeland Heights is the place. You’re a stone’s throw from the gorgeous International Links Melreese Country Club. This 18-hole course was included in Golf Advisor’s Top 20 courses and is home to several major events, including fundraisers and Golf Channel tournaments. If family activities are more your thing, swing over to Grapeland Heights Park for some baseball or a trip to the Grapeland Water Park.

Though Grapeland Heights is slightly inland from Downtown Miami, it’s surrounded by canals and rivers on three full sides. That means marinas, boating, kayaking and other watersports are always just out your back door.

At night, kick back and enjoy some of the delicious cuisine that the area offers. Cap it all off with some dancing at El Palenque Night Club or take a stroll through Fern Isle Park.
