A North Carolina native with a degree in Art History and Interior Design from Wake Forest and Salem College, Debran moved to Washington in 1993 to follow her passion for historic preservation, art, and architecture. Licensed in DC, VA, and MD since 2000, she blends her creative skills with real estate expertise for buyers and sellers.
A careful listener, Debran assesses and matches buyers’ wants and needs to properties that suit their budget, taste, and lifestyle. Equally important, sellers benefit from her interior design expertise, helping them position their homes for top dollar. Buyers and sellers alike appreciate Debran’s dependability, authenticity, responsiveness, and relentless attention to detail.
Debran and her two sons live in North Arlington, where her boys attend Yorktown High School. Supporting the local community and small businesses is important to Debran. In June 2024, she raised money and rappelled down a 14-story building supporting the Over the Edge fundraiser held by the local nonprofit, New Hope Housing. In March 2023, she co-chaired a charity art show in collaboration with Arlington Artists’ Alliance held in her Arlington office benefiting a local non-profit. Over the years she has taken on leadership roles for various non-profit fundraising events, hosted an art show to benefit the local non-profit, Homestretch, organized the Old Dominion Neighborhood Day and Market, served as a docent at the National Building Museum, volunteered with the Junior League of Washington, as co-president of the Wake Forest Alumni Club of DC, and served on the Wake Forest Alumni Council. Additionally, Debran is a member of the White House Historical Society, George Washington’s Mount Vernon, Reynolda House Museum of American Art, Arlington Historical Society, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and a lifetime member of the National Building Museum. Debran attends St. Mary’s Episcopal of Arlington and in her free time, enjoys playing golf, kayaking, walking her Brittany Spaniel, cheering her sons at their ball games, discovering the hottest DC-area restaurants, and exploring all the DC metro area has to offer.
