For decades, Diane has been known throughout the community as an educator, a successful real estate broker, a business owner and an American Studies scholar. Excellence and servant leadership characterize all of her accomplishments. She and her husband, Jim, are sponsors of an annual military golf tournament that provide for the education of the children of wounded warriors. She holds a number of advanced degrees including a Ph.D. in American Studies. She has become a business sponsor of the historic Mount Vernon and supports and has served on many historic foundations and cultural organizations in the area. Just appointed to the Steering Committee of the Partnership for a Healthier Alexandria and a Board of Trustee Member of the Virginia Diocesan Homes, she serves to improve the quality of life for everyone. She has taught real estate courses in first time buying, best practices for selling, and special financing for veterans and physicians. As a wife, mother and grandmother, she rejoices in the gift of family and inclusion in the lives of so many she has come to call extended family. Licensed as a Broker in Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Maryland, she offers a wide geographic basis and many areas of specialization.
