Green Bay is tucked into the northeastern part of Wisconsin, at the mouth of the Fox River. The city is famous for being the state’s oldest city, and for its National Football League team, the Green Bay Packers. Incorporated in 1754, it now covers 55.7 square miles, and has a median age of 35.1 (2022). Papermaking, manufacturing, food processing, healthcare, insurance, agriculture, trucking, and tourism (a large casino is nearby) are the main drivers of its economy.
