Ellen Hoffman recently won second place for most rental deals closed in the Halstead East Side Office in 2014 and third place for the most rental deals closed in 2013 in the Halstead East Side Office. She also won third place for the highest gross commissions in the Halstead East Side office in February 2012. Ellen most recently received the Halstead loyalty award for being with the firm for over five years. Ellen started her career in 2002 doing onsite work with new construction buildings through the Brodsky organization throughout the Midtown area. She also worked onsite in the exclusive Gramercy Park area in a well known building at 280 Park Avenue South. Currently, Ellen has been with Halstead Property since 2007 and is consistently in the top ten East Side agent list every month since she joined the firm. Prior to Halstead, Ellen worked at a small boutique firm downtown. It was there that she learned the rental real estate market as completely as she does today. Her experience has lead to a great knowledge of the product in Manhattan, as well as creating a large network between fellow co-brokers and working with landlords. This is very valuable to any client or customer Ellen works with. Ellens knowledge of neighborhoods spans from Battery Park City all the way uptown to Columbia University, Brooklyn and Queens. Since her onsite experience, she has done hundreds of rental deals in co-op, condo and luxury doorman buildings throughout Manhattan. She has also closed many sales while working at Halstead as well. Her clients often refer Ellen friends because she is so approachable and hard-working. Ellens approach to rentals and sales has a lot to do with her previous background in theatre, being a successful Broadway actress for many years. Being an actress, Ellen has learned how to see things from her clients point of view, which makes her ability to meet her clients goals much more effective. Aside from real estate, Ellen holds a bachelors degree from the University of Michigan. She records and sings music on a regular basis and performs regularly at many venues in Manhattan. Ellen hails from a beautiful town along the Hudson River called Irvington, NY. Growing up so close to the city, Ellen has a long history with NYC! She could never be happy living anywhere else!
