Ryan Aussem launched his real estate career in 2012, marketing a large national portfolio of luxury residential properties for The Related Companies. His work ethic and engaging demeanor made for a natural transition to sales when he was handpicked to join Relateds lauded new development team in NYC. Working directly with a top developer and a high-profile clientele, Ryan successfully opened three acclaimed properties in Hudson Yards, Long Island City and the Upper East Side. Following a successful four years at The Related Companies, Ryan Aussem joined Brown Harris Stevens to further serve his clientele. He was honored with the Manhattan Rookie of the Year Award by BHS for his first full year at the firm and was included on the firms 2018 Honor Roll for top performers. Ryan provides exceptional service to his clients in finding the perfect home in the nuanced and fast-paced market of New York. He offers his expertise learned from years working in corporate real estate to sellers he represents, delivering effective marketing and pricing strategies that yield results. He is one of the youngest drivers of business in his firm and has developed a strong network of referrals from corporations and individuals alike. Ryan Aussem has lived in many of Manhattans neighborhoods and has been a resident of New York City for over 10 years. He is happy to share his thoughts on a given areas best coffee shops in addition to the best comparable properties. He is a part-time MBA student at the NYU Stern School of Business and he studied at The American University of Paris and Marymount Manhattan College where he graduated with a BA in Political Science. He lives with his wife and labradoodle on The Upper East Side and likes to spend early mornings in Central Park. In his free time, he practices jazz guitar and takes on small music projects when time permits. He frequently travels to Colorado where he enjoys long hikes in the summer and skis in the winter.
