Avideh Ghaffari, Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker at Brown Harris Stevens, started her residential real estate career in Manhattan in 1988. After being a top producer with William B. May for sixteen years she joined Brown Harris Stevens in 2004. Educated in Architecture and Interior Design, Mrs. Ghaffari has been involved with construction and interior design since 1965 as the President of her own construction firm. Ms. Ghaffari's career as a Licensed Real Estate Broker has been equally impressive with her knowledge of construction design shaping and informing her world- class sales performance over a 29-year period. She developed an expertise in marketing high end condominiums, cooperatives and townhouses. She is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and American Society of Interior Design. She is listed in Who's Women of the World. Mrs. Ghaffari has been the subject of articles that have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Observer, and she has appeared as a guest of the week on CNBC television's Morning Business Report. As a highly successful business woman all her life Mrs. Ghaffari has mastered the art of listening to her clients, preparing a detailed plan of action to accomplish their goals and pinpointing appropriate proprieties for buyers and marketing strategies for sellers. Avideh has a very strong following of happy and appreciative clients who consistently are sending her referrals of friends and family or call her themselves to buy and sell again. Avideh has lived in New York City for over four decades with her husband, Abbas Ghaffari, former Head of the US and Mexican operations for NIOC (Oil Company), then headquartered in New York.
