Maria Mackin brings to Halstead her vast knowledge and experience as both an investor and a broker. She has owned and managed many residential and commercial buildings in Brooklyn over the last 20 years. Maria moved to New York City from Pittsburgh, PA in 1984. She earned her Masters degree in Social Work at New York University and worked in the emergency room of Kings County Hospital for over 10 years. Her love of Brooklyn is vast, and she has owned houses in many of its diverse neighborhoods. Clients love Marias knowledge of construction and renovation as well as her ability to hear what her clients needs are in a house. Maria and her husband and 3 children were the on the cutting edge of the backyard chicken movement, raising chickens and educating fellow Brooklynites, and spreading the movement to what it is today. Maria represents many sellers in Brownstone Brooklyn, particularly Park Slope, where she and her family currently live.
