Having acquired his real estate license in 2012, Roi worked for a small firm for 4 years learning the ins and outs of New York City real estate. Around 2016 Roi joined Douglas Elliman and has never looked back, earning the prestigious Golden Award (2021) and President's Award (2022) for his excellent work in the market. Roi says. “one person can get you there faster, but a team can get you there further.” Working with Roi now, you'll experience first-hand how his dedication, hard work, and extensive experience can take you further than you imagined.
Roi Nagar was born and raised in Israel. His mother, born in Egypt, is of Greek origin, and his father, a Yemenite. Fluent in both Hebrew and English, Roi served in the Israeli Air Force from 1998-2001 monitoring and fixing the electronic systems on fighter jets. In 2001 he moved to New York City and began working as a mover. It was during this time that Roi's eye for real estate blossomed. Roi helped move people all over the city and had the idea to become a relocation consultant: he could walk into any apartment and tell you exactly how many boxes you'd need to move and how much it would cost. Soon thereafter, the conversation would naturally lead to who was selling the apartment, and Roi decided to keep following his talent which now leads him to where he is today.
When Roi isn't hustling around the city trying to get the best deal for his clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Julie, in and around their apartment on 61st and Columbus. They enjoy walking in central park, cooking a homemade meal, or watching a soccer game.
