Richard McTighe joined Douglas Elliman in 1995. His vast experience and market knowledge of residential real estate is matched by his impeccable reputation and integrity. Richard takes great pride in the enduring professional relationships he has culled over three decades in the real estate brokerage business. Prior to joining Douglas Elliman, he held positions with the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, the National Trust For Historic Preservation, and Harvard University's real estate division.
Richard holds a Master's degree in Historic Preservation from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree from Union College in Schenectady, New York. He grew up in Massachusetts, and still spends significant time on Cape Cod where he owns a second home. Richard currently resides in a Gramercy Park cooperative where serves as Vice President of his coop board.
