Dora Abril is a veteran of the real estate industry since 1983 who enjoys an impeccable reputation for hard work, strong interpersonal skills and top-quality customer service. As her roles and responsibilities have expanded over the decades, so has Dora's expertise and understanding of the business that makes her an invaluable agent and partner to her buyers and sellers.
Formerly with MLB Kaye, Dora joined Douglas Elliman in 1991 in the role of administration, and later worked at the firm's Relocation Division. She subsequently was office manager of the Corporate Headquarters at 575 Madison Avenue alongside the President & CEO, then went on to become Executive Manager of Sales.
An Associate Broker, Dora decided to capitalize on her exceptional knowledge and extensive experience gained in sales, administration, listings and relocation positions, and transition into sales brokerage to represent clients one-on-one. This consummate professional draws on her proven background helping agents at every level build their real estate businesses, and now focuses on her own successful path as a residential salesperson. Originally from Manta, Ecuador, Dora is bilingual in Spanish and English. She can assist with any real estate endeavor, in South America, Asia, Europe and beyond, thanks to Elliman's affiliation with the global leader, Knight Frank.
A graduate of Baruch College, Dora received a degree in Business Administration. She and her husband have lived in Queens, NY for many years, where they raised their children. Dora is a member of REBNY, and a New York State Notary Public.
