John began his finance career as a securities investigator with the NASD, the country's leading securities regulatory body. He then moved into the banking and brokerage industry, joining PaineWebber, later acquired by UBS Investment Bank. While at UBS, John specialized in helping the Swiss investment bank implement comprehensive financial reporting and regulatory compliance programs. He later joined Ernst & Young's advisory practice where he managed consulting engagements with high-profile clients such as Goldman Sachs, Barclays Bank, and Morgan Stanley.
