Larry Brookner's philosophy has long been to listen to, understand and fulfill the needs of people with whom he's working, and to conduct himself with the utmost professionalism in all his dealings. Prided for his honesty, integrity, intelligence and empathy, Larry provides buyers and sellers of fine Manhattan properties with the same proper guidance, unflinching dedication and quality service he has given his patients as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for nearly 30 years.
A native New Yorker born in the Bronx, Larry has loved life on the Upper West Side for the past 25 years and is a resident of The Beresford on 81st Street and Central Park West. His office is located in The White House at 86th Street. This graduate of Queens College of CUNY with a BA degree went on to earn his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, where Larry subsequently got a Teaching Fellowship. Following that, he completed a General Practice Residency in Dentistry at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine, then an Oral and Maxillofacial Residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital and Medical Center.
Larry enjoys sharing his extensive knowledge of Manhattan with his real estate clientele, just as he does helping buyers and sellers satisfy their unique housing goals. His great endurance, unlimited energy and disciplined personality shine through both in his work and in his personal life as a committed 21-year NYC Marathon runner. In addition, Larry has been a staff member of the Mount Sinai Hospital and Medical Center and is currently on the faculty of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine since 1979.
