Simply put, Harriet Norris is a people person who loves solving problems. She gets to know her clients' needs and aspirations so she can work to achieve their objectives and guide them to properties that will resonate with them. Thorough, and knowledgeable, Harriet works diligently to remove stress from a customer's search, and anxiety from a seller's journey. Previously trained as a negotiator at Cornell University, she understands that making a deal involves having acute focus to find a path to success.
Born and bred in New York, where she also raised her daughter, Harriet knows the city very well. With her abundant energy, strong work ethic, and knowledge of the real estate market, she always gets the job done! By focusing on her customers' choices, she will work endlessly to accomplish their goals as though they were her own.
Prior to Real Estate, Harriet worked for what is now Verizon, heading up their various departments including Consumer Advocacy, Marketing Strategy, and Advertising. She also worked as a television producer and photographer, for ABC, CBS, Bill Moyers, Sally Jessy Raphael, and the Kennedy Foundation.
She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Samaritan Daytop Village, an organization that provides addiction services, wellness and mental health programs, as well as housing and shelter for over 30,000 vulnerable New Yorkers annually. A long time member of the board of the Anti-Defamation League, where she served as Vice Chair of the New York Regional Board, Harriet continues her commitment to fairness and equal treatment to all.
