A lifelong resident of Forest Hills, Queens, Rachel's interest in real estate, passion for New York City and love of interacting with people were the driving forces behind her decision to become a real estate professional. Her prior work experience in marketing and promotions, and as a title closer for over 10 years, proved to lay an invaluable foundation for this extremely rewarding career.
Consistently a top producing broker at Douglas Elliman, Rachel Borut entered the Queens residential real estate market in 2016 and quickly ascended to the top of the profession. She is an established award winner of the Douglas Elliman Pinnacle Award in 2017-2022, the highest in the company, as well as Chairman's Circle Gold Award for her sales production. As co-leader of The Gutermuth Copersino Borut Team, Rachel has received the 2016-2021 Top 10 Team Award in Sales amongst 3000+ agents of Douglas Elliman's Queens, Long Island Division and remains the #1 Team in Queens.
Rachel is extremely personable, outgoing and creative; yet she's also very detailed thanks to her seasoned background which gave her special insight into the real estate process. Rachel is passionate about her hometown of Forest Hills, dedicating her free time to local volunteer organizations. She loves to garden and is a proud member of Friends of Station Square. She also enjoys home-life with her husband and two children.
