A Florida native, Elizabeth has called New York City her home since the summer of 2004, when she graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Public Relations. Not even 24 hours after flying into LaGuardia airport, she found herself sitting in Real Estate School and on her way to becoming a licensed salesperson. Fast forward to early 2009, when Elizabeth first became a homeowner in Chelsea herself, going through the purchase experience again in 2017 with a new construction condo in Gramercy/Flatiron, which only adds to the understanding and firsthand knowledge she is able to pass on to those looking to buy, be it their first or tenth home. She can't imagine herself in any other field and has truly found her place(s) in the City, not to mention a place for thousands of satisfied rental and sales clients.
Elizabeth knows that excellent customer service goes hand-in-hand with product knowledge and open communication between all parties. She is adept at working with those native to New York as well as those new to the City, as she herself once was, and who may need extra time and attention acclimating to our unique environment and learning the ins and outs of those infamous co-op boards. Elizabeth enjoys sharing what makes each area in Manhattan & Brooklyn special and is savvy about the details of each specific neighborhood. Patience, diligence and the willingness to go beyond her "defined" role are all hallmarks of her superior work ethic, so it is no surprise that she was consistently one of her previous company's top producers over nine years with that firm and has carried that title on with her award winning team here at Elliman since 2013. Elizabeth truly wants to be her clients' lifelong real estate professional and does what she can to make what can be a stressful undertaking on any side of a transaction as much fun and transparent a process as it can be.
Elizabeth feels especially blessed to be doing a job she loves, and better yet, to be able to work with her older sister Tracie Hamersley, with whom she has partnered since joining the business. When not hard at work, Elizabeth enjoys traveling to locations near and far, rock climbing (and less hazardous daily workouts such as Barry's and SLT), singing karaoke, volunteering and catching up with friends.
