Jon Smilowitz joined Douglas Elliman Commercial in 2017 as a real estate salesperson. Jon has a strong investment experience and has a Certified Public Accounting background which allows for problem solving of complex real estate transactions.
With twenty years of investment experience he tries to educate clients on the cycles of commercial real estate, and match their investment needs. His expertise in investment sales, leasing, analysis of market trends and conditions for real estate investment and development has allowed him to be fair and work ethically to achieve the project at hand.
Jon worked as a CPA for several years with Coopers & Lybrand focusing in their real estate portfolio and twenty years with Jonden Manufacturing, a global manufacturing concern as one of its main principals.
Jon received his Bachelor of Science for Ithaca College. He is married with two children and lives in Hewlett, NY.
