Green Bay is tucked into the northeastern part of Wisconsin, at the mouth of the Fox River. The city is famous for being the state’s oldest city, and for its National Football League team, the Green Bay Packers. Incorporated in 1754, it now covers 55.7 square miles, and has a median age of 35.1 (2022). Papermaking, manufacturing, food processing, healthcare, insurance, agriculture, trucking, and tourism (a large casino is nearby) are the main drivers of its economy.

The city’s homes reflect diverse architectural styles, including Ranch, Tudor Revival, and Mid-Century Modern. I-41, I-43, and U.S. Routes 41 and 141 are among the city’s major thoroughfares. The neighborhood of Allouez, just east of the Fox River, offers unique homes and proximity to cafés, restaurants, and the YMCA. Adjacent to Allouez is Bellevue, which contains all styles of homes, with golfing and plenty of parks nearby. The De Pere area, which straddles the Fox River in the south end of the city, features the city’s finest homes, as well as churches, shopping, and a dog park.
