A group of six different islands, the Venetian Islands are situated just north of other luxury, tropical paradises, such as Palm Island, Star Island, and Hibiscus Island. Floating on the stunning waters of Biscayne Bay, the Venetian Islands are named after, of course, the famous and romantic Italian city of Venice. These are San Marco Island, Di Lido Island, San Marino Island, Rivo Alto Island, Belle Isle, and Biscayne Island. Connected to the mainland by the Venetian Causeway, residents of the island have access to important spots such as Downtown Miami, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, and Bayside Marketplace. All of these offer many possibilities in terms of culture, art, nightlife, sports, and live performances.
