A Manhasset resident for over 40 years, Helene and her husband John raised their four children there. During the time her children attended Manhasset schools, Helene was involved with many school activities, and is still an active member of the local community. Earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from Queens College, Helene spent her early career as a teacher.
