Winchester is another unincorporated town that contains a part of the Las Vegas Strip. Like Paradise, it is obscure; the name “Winchester, NV” does not appear as a postal address. Home prices here range from $75,000 to nearly $3 million, so it is certainly an inexpensive place to buy as compared to other Nevada neighborhoods.

Though not as large as Paradise and not as populated, Winchester is a smaller version of the unincorporated and obscure town of Paradise. Winchester is an urbanized are that sits directly south of Las Vegas as well. It is situated in east-central part of the Las Vegas Valley and borders Las Vegas to its north, Paradise to its south, and Sunrise Manor to its eastern side.

Residents see Winchester as a clean, walkable, and dog-friendly area which feels safe and friendly. There is a good bus system in place and plenty of schools nearby. If you are looking for an affordable and secure area to live that is also close to all the necessities and leisure activities, Winchester may be a great option for you.
