Park City, Utah, had been well-known for its silver mining before it established itself as a premier mountain resort town. Prospectors founded the city in 1869. It’s now home to the major ski resorts Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain Resort. It’s also famous for hosting the annual Sundance Film Festival. Covering 19.9 square miles east of Salt Lake City, it has a median age of 41 (2022). Tourism is its major industry.
Beautiful, rustic Modern Mountain-style homes lie across Park City, where the average price of a home is $1,728,618, up 29.7% over the past year (Zillow, 2022). In addition to the film festival, residents and visitors can enjoy annual events that include Autumn Aloft, the Kimball Arts Festival, and Park City’s Annual Shot Ski Event.

Empire Pass, meanwhile, is a ski-in/ski-out area enveloped in an alpine atmosphere, due to numerous evergreens and high terrain at the peak of Deer Valley Resort.
