Located near White Rock Lake, Casa View is a residential community in Dallas. It borders 1-635, Buckner Boulevard and Garland Road, all the way to the neighboring town of Mesquite. Casa View was originally considered one and the same with Casa Linda, a neighboring community. However, over time, the community branched out on its own and has even been featured in D Magazine as one of the Top 5 Dallas Neighborhoods on the Rise.
From a historical standpoint, Casa View was originally Protestant and White Roman Catholic. However, in the early 2010s, the neighborhood transitioned to mostly Hispanic. Now, Casa View is a progressive area with mostly single- family homes, including one of Dallas' largest communities of mid-century homes designed by Cliff May, a famed architect in the Dallas area.
The Casa View community consists of 17 diverse neighborhoods where residents can enjoy free time at Cotillion Park as well as Casa View Park. Casa View also offers residents a cornucopia of lush lawns, shade trees and bit city access, all with an affordable cost of living.
