As a member of Halsteads commercial real estate team, Drunell Levinson brings a multiplicity of talent and experience with her. She has worked in many different areas of the commercial real estate industry, including investment sales and leasing, temporary short-term retail build-outs, and even nationwide rooftop antenna site location placement. With this Drunell has built a loyal customer base and a network of referral business. For the last seven years, Drunell has been a New York City commercial leasing and investment sales agent. She has worked on the agency side helping building owners to lease and sell their properties, and on the tenant side finding office, retail and restaurant spaces. She has also worked with non-profit organizations to acquire new development properties. Prior to her real estate sales work, Drunell was a New York City art fair director and manager. Here she focused on all aspects of real estate relating to temporary art locations. This included leasing and subleasing, floor plans, and construction and build out specifications, and interior design details. She also worked in tandem on the fundraising, development and events side, securing art fair preview beneficiaries and managing logistics for opening night fundraiser events. Drunells broad knowledge of environments and real estate locations as a whole was aided by her many years of experience as a communications consultant. In this position she located nationwide rooftop and mountain top antenna site locations for FCC communications licensees. Through this experience she gained advance knowledge of new communications technologies. This placed her at the forefront of industry professionals familiar with microwave and high frequency technology and equipment requirements. Drunell is a Ph.D. graduate of New York University, Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development. A longtime resident of the East Village, Drunell is also a published author. Her curatorial projects and art works have been exhibited internationally.
