In 2010, Elena came full circle in real estate by rejoining industry leader Douglas Elliman, where she started in the business in 2004. For five years she served as Vice President at one of Manhattan's top boutique brokerage firms, CORE, where she honed her skills as the onsite Director of Sales focused on the design, lifestyle, marketing and advertising of several new development condominiums. She possesses an in-depth knowledge of market trades from new development condos to resale co-ops throughout the city. No matter what your unique needs, Elena's aim is to make the real estate “adventure” a pleasurable and seamless experience by confidently providing due diligence for intelligent consumers to make the most informed investment. Her aggressive, innovative marketing coupled with her keen assessment of pricing and sharp negotiation skills ensure the best outcome for both buyers and sellers alike.
Originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where she was a top graduate of Detroit Country Day School, Elena is an accomplished academic who holds four degrees from the University of Michigan Honors College, the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health, and Boston University School of Medicine. In her former career as a Cancer Epidemiologist, she worked with solid tumor oncology patients on clinical trials in Chicago hospitals. Once in NYC, Elena transitioned to health care consulting, only to find herself drawn to real estate development and sales. Her healthcare background, outgoing personality, diplomatic nature and lifelong exposure to international cultures has given her a natural affinity for relating to people from all walks of life.
A member of the Real Estate Board of New York, Elena is among an elite group of NYC brokers who have earned the esteemed New York Residential Specialist (NYRS) designation which recognizes top agents in the city who have successfully completed an advanced graduate program. As a resident of Manhattan for the past 20 years, Elena has an avid network of friends in various spheres of influence and always makes philanthropy a part of her life. She serves as President of the Board of Directors of Doing Art Together, a subcommittee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art which provides art education to underserved public schools in New York's five boroughs. She is also a member of the Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce and Armenians in Banking and Finance. Fluent in French and Greek, Elena has enjoyed traveling the world extensively throughout her life. After two decades living downtown, she recently purchased a home on the Upper East Side where she lives with her young family.
