Though Barbara was born and raised in Virginia, she has called New York home for many years. After a lengthy career in the legal industry, her passion for selling real estate in the city she loves led her to Douglas Elliman, where she is now happily developing relationships with buyers, sellers and renters on a daily basis.
When asked what drives her to excel in real estate, Barbara remarks, "It pleases me to help my clients fulfill their unique dreams. My ability to apply both my business and life experiences to help customers is truly an essential tool. Ultimately, keeping my clients’ best interests first is always my top priority.”
In addition to attending Baruch College, Barbara briefly studied fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology and foreign languages at the French Institute Alliance Franaise and Eurocentre for Languages. Additionally, she has been a Fresh Air Fund volunteer for many years and works with other charities as well.
Another of her passions is world travel, especially to Europe. Having spent a great deal of time in Germany, she speaks German on an intermediate to high level and still continues her studies. Barbara also enjoys the arts, reading, design and outdoor activities in her leisure time.
