With her passion for our nation’s veterans, Chandra co-founded Coastal Georgia Honor Flight; taking WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam Veterans to see their memorials in Washington DC. The Veterans Council of the Golden Isles awarded Chandra the Outstanding Community Service Award in 2017, and she is the first civilian to receive the award. Elegant Island Living readers chose her as Community Volunteer 2015. She also volunteers with the non-profit organization No Kill Glynn County, a local dog and cat rescue.
Chandra and her husband Steve live on St. Simons Island with their two RESCUE dogs, Molly and Susie Q.
