A native of South Carolina, Eric Tone moved to the DC Metro Area over 25 years ago, to take a position with an educational company that brought youth from all over the country (and world) to Washington, DC for opportunities to learn about the historical significance of our nation's capital. As a lifelong fan of US history, Eric was thrilled to emerge himself into DC culture.
Eric has since embraced McLean, Virginia as home and he’s enjoyed raising a family with all the cultural opportunities, history, and the occasional political drama that the DC Metro Area provides.
Eric’s turn to real estate over twelve years ago proved to be a wonderful and challenging new role, but one that suits his personality and business acumen. In college, at the University of South Carolina, and in the US Army Reserves, Eric learned to have systems in place for success. He continues to use winning systems and a tool bag of resources while helping clients successfully buy and sell real estate.
The most important “secret sauce” to Eric’s success in real estate is that he has the luxury of loving what he does. Each day brings a new opportunity and new challenges, it’s always evolving and exciting!
Education is still a passion for Eric as is keeping up with the latest trends and technology in Real Estate. With TTR Sotheby’s International Realty, Eric has been able to balance his love of education and mastery of the business. In that vein, he has taken the additional educational steps to receive his Broker’s license in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC.
When Eric isn’t checking out residential properties, you could probably find him walking his dog, jogging, playing basketball, or spending time with his family. He’s also involved in helping to arrange toy drives for Inova Children’s hospital and food drives for SHARE in McLean, VA. He and his family also volunteer at RiverBend Park in Great Falls, VA.
