Ever since she moved to Hunterdon County from La Jolla, California, more than 20 years ago, Jacqueline has tirelessly advocated to preserve the land and lifestyle that first drew her here. And her passion for finding a client’s perfect home is only matched by her commitment to protect it. Jacqueline received her BA from The University of California, Santa Barbara, and her Master of Fine Arts from The School of Visual Arts in New York City. While in New York, she and her partner started a luxury bag company. And it was the search for a design studio that sparked Jacqueline’s passion for real estate, resulting in her earning her New York State Real Estate License. Like many New Yorkers in the wake of 9/11, the couple relocated to the peace and beauty of Delaware Township to raise their three children. Over the next two decades, Jacqueline proved herself a friend to environmental organizations, citizens groups and diverse communities—making life-long friends in the process. And she went beyond familiarizing herself with the area’s estates, business districts and natural treasures by committing to preserve them, serving on the New Jersey Conservation Foundation Advisory Committee and as a Trustee for both the Delaware Township Historical Society and the Delaware River Mill Society. As the owner of an organic farm in Delaware Township, Jacqueline has come to view the area’s rich agricultural history as part of her family’s own—and remains tireless in her protection of it. She is a founding member of Homeowners Against Land Taking (HALT) and her success advocating for the rights of property owners has led to a unique understanding of Constitutional, state, and local laws and regulations that serves her clients well. That advocacy has fueled Jacqueline’s philanthropic work AND artwork—from joining a collective of artists and galleries that promotes creativity in the Delaware River area to producing a series of “Dreamcatcher” installations for the annual Donald B. Jones Walk (held to honor local preservationists). It’s a testament to her unique connection with clients that so many have commissioned her to create works for their new homes. Undeterred by lockdowns, Jacqueline obtained her New Jersey real estate license, proving a worldwide pandemic was no match for her tireless work ethic. Organizer. Advocate. Educator.
